EIM (Ethics and Integrity in Ministry) is a program of the Diocese of Austin for promoting safe environments, child and youth protection, and ethical behavior in all ministries. The program consists of an application process (including a background check) and attendance at an EIM workshop at your local parish.
Anyone who works or volunteers at a parish or college ministry in the Diocese of Austin, including St. Peter Catholic Student Center. If you want to get involved with the liturgical ministries, join the SPROUT team, or help run one of the organizations, you will need to take part in the EIM program. EIM training must also be renewed every three years.
The Diocese of Austin does not accept training completed in other dioceses, so you’ll still need to participate in the EIM program if you’d like to volunteer or work at St. Peter’s.
Submit an online or paper application to the Diocese of Austin and sign up for an EIM workshop. Please note that you will need to pre-register for the workshop at least 24 hours in advance.
No, it’s free!
